Hello,
I'd like to remote control my s760's front panel buttons. Just like the rc100 does, but using midi.
The best would be that some sysex could control them, but i wasn't able to find these commands on the sysex chart.
Then, i was wandering what kind of signal emits the rc100 (that i don't own), so i could eventually build a converter that will translate from midi to rc100 input on the s760. I'm far from an electronic expert but i can use a solder iron...
Simply using the rc100 will not do it for me, as i want to be able to record the remotely pushed buttons on a midi sequencer...
Any idea is welcome
Many thanks,
Boris
Can anyone with an S760 (in the US or Canada) tell me whether it sports a
switching power supply - ie. will it accept all voltages from 115 to 250V?
Or is it like other Roland gear where they put in specific power supplies
for the country of sale?
I'm looking to pick up one of these on ebay, but if there are any sgroup
members who want to dispose of their S760, please feel free to email me
(provided it will do 240V of course)
Regards,
Nic.

With Halion, can you use patch changes to load the equivalent of a
s7xxx performance?
For example, I have a drum kit as a performance in the s760, and a
patch change switches it all to a different drum set.
Easy in Halion?

I just recently purchased my Roland S770 Sampler and LOVE it. However I
have been searching for a mouse ever since. I read that the Roland S770
uses an MSX compatible mouse. After alot of searching I found a NEOS MS-10
MSX mouse on ebay and purchased it. When I plug it in and activate the
mouse the cursor just darts to the bottom right and I can't do anything with
the mouse. The right button will scroll through the jump menu though. I
looked further in the S770 manual and noticed the it says it is compatible
with the S550 mice, but nothing else.
Is my problem an incompatible mouse or a BAD mouse port on my sampler?
Thanks
Michael
Hi
If anyone is interested I'm listing my Roland S750 for auction. Item
number 330117571309 . I'm listing a couple of other things there
that may be of interest, a sycologic midi matrix and a couple of
Lexicon reverbs for example.
Thanks for the attention!
