Using multiple S-760s and was wondering if anyone has experience with using manual SCSI switch boxes?
Would like to share one scsi HD with multiple S-760s.

Here is one such switch box. This claims to be an actual SCSI switch with CN50 cables supported.

Here is a DB25 box that is usually used for parallel printers, but it uses the same DB25 connector that is on the back of the S760 so I'm not sure why it wouldn't work.
Also, is there an actual difference between SCSI and parallel DB25 cables? I understand that you should not interface one with the other, but is the actual DB25 cable itself different? The reason I ask is because parallel cables are so much cheaper.
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
I have an S-760 with a bad LCD display. Can someone tell me the exact
series of steps to put the unit back into the mode that allows the use
of an external monitor?
I'll be doing it blindly, so I'll need something that reads like: "press
'down' 3 times, then press 'inc' ".
Thanks in advance!
Hey
I sold my samplers a long time ago, but have some stuff laying around.
I'd hate to just throw it out.
It's free to anyone that's willing pay shipping to have it sent to you.
But you must take all of it.
I believe everything was working the last time it was used,
but that was years ago.
You can estimate shipping a box about 20lbs from Pittsburgh PA to your location.
Here's what you'll get.
S-550 manual
S-330 manual
SCSI CD-ROM drive Apple 300e Plus
APS External SCSI hard drive of unknown size
SCSI terminator
Roland Director -S Sequencer Package SYS-503 for the S-50
Misc Sample CDs
