Ingo, I will have to check my a80 when i get back home to houston to see if my aftertouch still works.

I once owned an A80, but that's long ago so my memory is a little vague.
The A80 of course can send MIDI Program Change messages. AFAIR it cannot send Bank Select messages.
I used Program Change messages to make the S-760 load volumes from disk (ZIP drive in my case). This worked very well.
Does aftertouch still work on your A80? When I got mine back then, I had to replace the sensors. Polyphonic aftertouch is a great feature that not many keyboards offer. On the S-760 it can be used to control filter cutoff for instance.

Does anyone have an A-80 set up to use with their S760? If so could you give me a little advice on the easiest way to use the two devices? I just got an A-80 and its been years since i've used my 760 and other midi gear and so I dont understand everything like I want to.
I'd like to be able to change s760 performances from the A80. Say i load in a volume and go to performance mode. All of the performances are on their own midi chan, or i can step through them with the mouse on the 1st chan. Can I somehow do that from the A80?
I'll be happy to take this off list since this is likely more to do with the A80.

Hello,
It may be a silly question, but after toying around with more recent gear &
knowing how to control that -
coming back to the S-330 & S-550 I can't seem to find how to let them
respond to MIDI-CC.
As it seems they're not really responding to many MIDI-CC numbers but it all
has to be done by System Exclusive, right ?
Is there for instance no simpler way on these machines to say control the
VCF(TVF)-cutoff etc in real-time ?
Or no way to control the settings of the multiple-stage Envelope Generators
in real-time ?
I hope I'm simply overseeing something, but fear I should dive more in the
System Exclusive topic...
Is that way of controlling also capable of 'zipperless' real-time control ?
Thanks ! & regards
