Hi everyone,
This is my first post here.
I had the chance to buy a little stock of RC100, brand new, boxed.
These units have been safely stored in a big Music Gear shop in Italy
since the 90's. I already sold 5 units by posting on "Roland sampler
users" group on Facebook and also on another group called "Hardware
samplers users".
There you can find the nice feedbacks I've recieved,
Please note that these have no warranty, but since I own a S770 and a
S760 myself, I have the chance to test them before shipping.
The price is 100 euros plus shipping (shipping costs must be
calculated on each Country of course).
I am also dealing on some H5-IF SCSI card for the S-550.
I will keep you updated also on this, but I already accept reservations.
The price would be more or less in the 100 euros price also for these ones.
I am based in Italy, and I will ship worldwide.
Contact me for any info you would need at paolo.giangrasso(a)gmail.com.
Thanks for your attention.
My best regards

Hi everyone,
After watching this video I decided I want to buy a Roland DT100 to
use with my Roland S770 and S760:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtei1cBk2mI
To be honest, I didn't find many resources about the compatibility
between the DT100 and my two samplers, but I was confident I could've
used it since I own the RC100 controller, that is necessary to use the
DT100.
Other important thing to say: my DT100 is not a "true" DT100. It is in
fact a Philips NMS1150, and I've found some sources on the net that
said that the twos are identical.
My wish was to use it as seen on the video: to draw my own waves on
the X/Y axis and then use the sampler as a sort of digital synth.
It seems like I made a big mistake: on the S770, I've found the "Wave
draw" section but it's very different from the one in the S330 shown
in the video, and try to draw a wave is very difficult. I've sampled a
silent 0.4 sec, and then work on it, but It was very hard to handle it
(wasn't able to find the "window loop" function too :( )
On the S760 I didn't even find the "wave draw" section at all (stop
laughing please).
In both cases the use of the tablet is a nightmare: it works as a
mouse but the pointer is higly unstable and I have to press to keep it
stable. To direction it is even worse...
Did any of you use the DT100 or the Philips equivalent in combo with
S770 or S760 and succeded in using it as seen on the video?
Is it possible? Or you can use it that way only with the S330 or S550?
Any help would be veeeery appreciated.
If I can't find a way to use it I will sell the tablet, so if you are
interested contact me at paolo.giangrasso(a)gmail.com
My best regards
Paolo Giangrasso
