Volume and filter cutoff can be controlled via CCs. Go
to Patch/
Control (assuming you have a CRT monitor). In the lower half of the
screen there's a modulation matrix. Here you can set the sensitivity
for (Pitch) Bender, Aftertouch and Ctrl controlling TVF (cutoff
frequency) and TVA (volume).
The controller source "Ctrl" can be assigned to any MIDI CC# from 0
to 95 in the upper half of the screen.
Filter resonance cannot be controlled directly via MIDI CC. As a
workaround, I once layered several patches with different resonance
settings (otherwise they were identical), and crossfaded between them.
THANKS!
yeah i've finally got making multipatches down and basic sample editing, but
still haven't had a chance to do synth work [which is weird since that's ALL
i did when i had my korg dss-1, but then again that was probably more
intuitive as a synth while the s760 is better as a straight up sampler].
anyway, thanks, i hadn't noticed that option before! resonance shouldn't
really be a problem - i'll just set it at that sweet spot and sweep the
filter until it hits and WHAM sampler acid :D
now lets pray that the eight hour flight i'm taking my s760 on won't fuck
everything up!
