Uh, this is ages ago...
I think Scan never worked with the S-760. Also, the S-760 doesn't
communicate via Sysex messages in some modes (disk mode for
instance). Try performance mode.
The S-760 has a built-in MIDI monitor, so you can see if the request
messages are received at all.
