Is the 760's RCA output mono or color?
As for the 550, I have tons of floppies for the 550 and I know the
760 plays them too, but I want to hang on to both samplers so I can
use the 760 for the samples I only have for the 760. The 550
actually doesn't sound that bad, and some people say 550 samples
will sound better on a 550 than on a 760 ('though I can't say I've
noticed this myself).

ok.
most TV's that have s-video have composite in (which is the RCA) and
you can switch between them.
