I can confirm what Joni wrote. Philips MSX mouse works fine with S-xx0.

PC mouses use completely different protocol and pin
assignments, but any
MSX mouse should indeed work. Rolands mouse is a rebadged Philips MSX
mouse. PC mouse adapter can be built, however, there are schematics and
