Hi there,
okay, here's some sort of test report from me ;)
First, JMD you are a genius! Your program finally prepared the image in
that way that the burned CD could be read by my S-760... hooray!! :)
Unfortunately there seem to be other serious bugs in Translator. One big
one is, that it sometimes do not compute the beginning and ending of
sample(wave)data correctly,
leading so something like this here:
Now since it's the "real data" the is ripped wrong, JMD's program has
of
course no chance to fix the loop-points.
What a pity! Where are so close to have a real working solution.
Hey Chickensys, you should hire JMD. He just casually wrote a small tool
that fixes what you guys couldn't fix for quite a long time now. And he
did not have all the internal specs I suppose...
cheers,
Chris
PS: JMD, if you need somebody for further betatesting etc, just get back
to me!

Hello,
It's my first post to this mailing list :)
I made a little tool to fix the Chicken S760 image file. It's far from
perfect but still usefull ;).

Unfortunately Chickensys' software still
does not work for me on my
S-760. The generated CD-image is still faulty and thus the S-760 is not
able to load the samples correctly, in fact it loads just "silence"
instead.
