Years ago I wrote a SoundDiver adaptation for the S-760. It can edit
anything except the sample waveform, but I have to confess I almost
never use it myself, since editing at the S-760 directly (with mouse
and monitor) is so easy. But SoundDiver does a good job finding
duplicate partials. The S-760 sometimes generates lots of duplicate
partials when importing Akai CD-ROMs.
I also wrote a tool for the S-760 that runs on the Atari if anyone's
interested.
