to quote Jesse Segovia:
=> The original sgroup list had a group archive of their samples - if you read the
old archives you'll find lots of discussions about this - but I don't think any
of them are available anymore. We should contribute all we legally can to a new group
archive.
=>
=> Does anyone have any server space available to host it?
I do and would be happy to volunteer the space and co-ordinate the
archive, unless John (Sellens) wishes to take it on as it would make
sense to keep it at sgroup.ca, although we can make it look like it is
part of sgroup.ca with a dns entry.

And on this topic, the last commercial album recorded in my studio:
'Angela Alegna - Melodies of 547' (
www.angelaalegna.com or on
itunes/rhapsody/napster) made heavy use of my trusty S750's piano and
strings on every track - gigastudio just wasn't stable enough - so not
getting rid of it just yet! (apologies for shameless plug, but it's a
great album IMNSHO and I'm quite proud of it)
Finally, anyone have an OP-760 expansion board (or even an S760 with one
in) that they would want to part with? If not, I may be wanting to move a
32Mb S760 (no expansion, obviously), 240V model - please contact me
offlist if either is of interest.
Regards,
Nic.
