hi colin
to be honest i haven't dug out the disks and actually did a test, but
the sampler docs state that it handles the format. of course, you need
a floppy drive that will handle the disks as well. i have a couple of
cd-rom disks as well that i'll test when i have the time, likely not
for several weeks.

can't quite bring myself to lose my s550 - even though
Kontakt (the software sampler i use now) can load my old s550 disks.

Does Kontakt handle S550 disks well?
I use the EXS24 sampler in Logic and have to go through conversions
with other apps first and these are not always successful - loop
tune problems etc.
I have lots of S550 disks and would like to be able to easily import
some of the great old sounds into Logic. I'm just lazy to have to
boot up and load the old S550 every time.
