It seems like it was only yesterday that I was posting about DART
which was the catalyst for creating the SAMDISK utility and us
dreaming of a FTP web site for the samples. :-)
It shows that Roland was really ahead of their time with this product
line that it is still being used today. Back in those days, I had a
TASCAM 16-track in my studio. I would use SMPTE time-code and layer
the S-330 to create a full orchestra sound. This worked very well and
it was more cost effective than having a room full of samplers.
I'll stop, because I might be boring the newer members to the
SGROUP. :-)
