I never thought the s760 had a good filter at all. Usable, but
nothing like an analog synth.
Now if we are talking about *latency*, then the s760 is better than
these Windows based samplers, even with the fastest drivers.
Latency is no real issue for most of you, but it is for playing samplers live.

But the D/A's in most cases our inferior to
the S760 unless you
have cotton in your ears. Also the Filter in the S760 is
better as
well, and perhaps a coincidence the music being made with hardware
samples was much better than 90% of the pure crap we hear now in the box.
