Hi! An USB to serial converter should work with the S550/760? Not is there is another serial to MSX mouse converter as the Roland S550/760 don't work with a serial mouse. Believe me - I know. I designed mouse converters for the S550... (see my webpage if interested). The cheapest and quite up to date solution that works with mice that can be bought today is a PS2-mouse to MSX converter. One of the designs has been done by a Japanese person, but his webpage is not longer online or not reachable that good. But you can load his design also from my mouse converter page.
