I have both - S550 and S760
Using the RCA outputs, you get color from the S760 and black and
white from the S550.
I had a special switcher built for video in my studio but you could
just as easily get a simple RCA switcher box to handle either the
S550 or S760, as long as you don't mind seeing the S550 in B/W.
This way you can connect to any TV/monitor/projector
It won't be possible with the Roland cable.

I see now that it's color. Since you'd use
the RCA jacks with the 760
would you get color output?
I've got both the Roland S-550 and S-760 samplers and yes, the 760 sounds
much better than the 550 but I have so many samples for the 550 I always
thought it would be nice to be able to use them both. I wanted to get a
switcher box so I could switch between the 550 and the 760 with my CGA
monitor but I never found a switcher box that would work with the
proprietary Roland cable connection. I figured the easiest thing is to
find another Roland cable and keep it hooked up to my other sampler and
then manually connect the cable to the sampler I want to use at that
moment, but I never managed to find another Roland cable.
