Yeah, I'm thinking if I get this going I may sell
my S-550. Right now I
have both in my 16 channel rack mixer. I'm using the 760's 4 outs and the
first 4 of the 550. I can always load 550 diskettes in the 760 so after I
have all 8 outs for the 760 why keep the 550 around?
The main reason I can think of is that you may want the extra polyphony
that you get from having separate devices. But you should probably take
with a large grain of salt such comments from someone who hasn't even
turned on his S-760 for probably over a year. ;-)
