The new Translator Mac beta supports S-50/550 floppy
images and it
can convert them to EXS24 format (or Structure, or Independence, or
Kontakt, or others). And this week (at least I think; we are in
striking distance) the beta will support -Roland S-7x, just like the
Windows version does.

That's really good news.
I see that you mention floppy images. So will I have to make disk
images of my disks first?
I still have an old Iomega superdrive which could read S550 floppies
directly to Mac - if Translator supports that......
