I recently got MachFive a universal sampler made by
MOTU which runs
on the Mac. It supports many formats, including Roland S7xx. I was
thinking about how to transferred into MachFive. I don't have any
Roland S7XX samplers, but I do think they can read S-330/S-50 disks?
Maybe the best route is to use the SamDisk utility and read in the
S-330 disks and re-configure them in MachFive?
The S760 can definitely read S330/S550 disks. The sounds can then be
re-saved in S760 format for further use.
You may find that MachFive only reads S7xx CD's - try to check up on
this somehow.
