mean to sound offensive, but why even bother with doing this? 
Because cards will be infinitely more reliable than mechanical zip disks.
A 256meg card is only $20.

32Mb is not a lot of memory, apart from other considerations.
I use a SCSI Zip drive and the 100Mb disks get filled up in no time at all. 
No time at all? You must sample a lot!
I've been writing for many years and haven't really used up *one* 
zip disk yet with samples. 
 
I use sample CD-ROM's and load a complex arrangement of patches into 
a performance, and then save these for easy loading when I work on a 
job. Eats up disk space.......
Anyway, good luck and let the group know if you are successful with the cards.
