Hi Rob, Could you be thinking of the S50 samples of the same names? http://www.sgroup.ca/archive/samples/Roland/S50/ http://www.sgroup.ca/archive/samples/Roland/ReadMes/rsblst.txt http://www.sgroup.ca/archive/samples/Roland/ReadMes/ You might have to be creative to use the old utilities on a current machine to write a floppy. Hi Rob, I've emailed you those disk images but getting them onto floppies could be a problem as I explained in my email. If anyone can suggest recent software (other than SMAC which is OS9) that will help, please jump in here. Cheers Peter! Will give this a go. Just have to find a 3.5 inch floppy drive I can connect to my Mac (running 10.5.8) - a USB floppy drive I presume. I found this one on the Net: http://www.sabrent.com/category/accesories/SBT-UFDB/ Will your command line work with a mid 2011 iMac running 10.8.5 with this kind of USB floppy drive plugged in? I've got a bunch of blank DD 3.5 inch disks already so no problems there. AFAIK the disk images are raw images (512*1440=737280 bytes) So a simple dd if=<imagefile> of=/dev/<floppydevice> should do the job on Mac OSX. Be careful to use real DD diskettes with 720 KB, not HD 1.44 MB.
