Hi folks, My trusty old S760 has suddenly become very ill. I have 2 x 16 MB RAM chips but suddenly I am getting messages that there is no memory left. The System parameters section seems very odd - sometimes it says I have 2 MB and sometimes only 1 MB. The wave memory seems to vary from boot to boot. Sometimes I have less than 1 sec (!!!) and sometimes about 8 sec. I have tried the following: - Rebooted many times from different system disks. - Removed the RAM, and replaced it - Swopped the RAM chips around. - Tried with only one RAM chip in slot A When I remove the RAM entirely, I get the onboard 2MB RAM that one would expect. So....is my RAM faulty or is there some kind of problem with the main motherboard? Can one even get replacement RAM in this century? I'd be grateful for any feedback and suggestions. Regards - Colin
